description
Hand tool to cut the tensioned twine bands that bind the pressed straw or hay bale by lightly touching it and pulling the tool towards you.
The bale tie cutter consists of a triangular blade - often a cutter bar tooth - that sticks into a wooden handle.
For the same purpose, other knives, foldable or not, such as the pruning knife, are used.
